BCEL VISA is one of International Electronic Products that customers can carry instead of cash. The Visa Cards can be used globally to withdraw cash or make a payment for goods or services, based on characteristics of each type in which there are two types of BCEL VISA: Credit and Debit.

BCEL VISA CREDIT

BCEL VISA CREDIT is a credit card that has a highly secured chip technology, granted a line of credit to customers who are creditable, with sufficient collateral and stable incomes in accordance with regulations, set forth by BCEL. The credit card may not only be used to purchase goods or services at any stores around the world where displaying Visa Logo, but also online shopping. However, one supplementary card is only allowed with up to 45 Interest-free days (depends on an actual purchase/usage date). In addition, the payment term is flexible that cardholders can fully or partly repay their debt, but not less than 20%, if not a full repayments. You may select and apply for either two different types: Visa Gold and Visa Classic (Silver) Cards.

BCEL VISA DEBIT

BCEL VISA DEBIT is a chip debit card being used instead of cash in order to pay for goods or services via POS/EDC, and shop online, almost the same functionality of the credit card, except that your debit transactions may directly be deducted from your bank account.

While traveling around the world, your payments will be easier and safer by using our BCEL Visa Cards instead of cash or cheque. In addition, cardholders can also shop online or make their payments anywhere via EDC/POS as well as withdraw cash from any ATMs.

Conditions

  1. Lao/foreign Individuals
  2. Residing in Laos. If foreigners, a letter of guarantee is required and should be provided by their relevant organization.
  3. Stable income.
  4. Visa-Card Requirements:
  5. Credit Cards: Collateral (bank accounts or assets), valued at least 120% of the requested credit, or a guarantee of a third party who has creditability, complied with BCEL requirements.
  6. Debit Cards: Saving accounts with a minimum balance: 100 USD, with BCEL
  7. Comply with Lao Laws and BCEL Agreements.
  8. Must have at least one BCEL account, ID card/Passport/household registration book;
  9. One color photo: 3x4 or 4x6  (within 6 months)
