BCEL UnionPay Cards, formerly known as BCEL ATM Cards, are designed to facilitate customers who do not want to withdraw cash at BCEL’s tellers or involve any cash transactions. By the BCEL UnionPay cards, withdraw cash will be easier at any ATMs as well as your payments for goods or services around the world where displaying UnionPay logo. Moreover, you are also able to access other services via ATMsincluding fund transfers, Balance Inquiry,Mini Statement,and Bill Payments such as water, electricity bills and others.In addition, if you have three different bank accounts (Lao Kip, Thai Bath and US dollar), you can use themwithin one card.

  • Require saving or current accounts with BCEL
  • ID card/Passport/Household registration book.

Withdrawal and usage allowance

  • BCEL UnionPay Standard Card:

Maximum withdrawal: 9,000,000 LAK/day, 6 transactions/day,

Maximum withdrawal: 1,500,000 LAK/transaction.

Maximum fund transfer: 100,000,000 LAK/day, between bank accounts within BCEL network.

  • BCEL UnionPay Carbon Card:

Maximum withdrawal: 12,000,000 LAK/day, 8 transactions/day,

Maximum withdrawal: 1,500,000 LAK/transaction.

Maximum fund transfer: 150,000,000 LAK/day, between bank accounts within BCEL network.

  • BCEL UnionPay Carbon Card:

Maximum withdrawal: 15,000,000 LAK/day, 10 transactions/day,

Maximum withdrawal: 1,500,000 LAK/transaction.

Maximum fund transfer: 200,000,000 LAK, between bank accounts within BCEL network.
Remark
  • Minimum balance must be maintained:

Saving accounts: 50,000 LAK/10 USD/500 THB

Current accounts: 100,000 LAK/50 USD/1,000 THB.

  • Cash withdrawal/payments via other domestic and international banks’ facilities are allowed only your primary account (if more than one accounts linking to your BCEL UnionPaycard).
