1.Bid bond Guatantee

The objective of a bidding guarantee is for the bank to guarantee the repayment in accordance within the limits of the guarantee in the event that a holder of such a guarantee wins a contract and then refuses to sign it, withdraws the amount bid before the specified time, or is able to guarantee that they will be able to perform their contractual obligations after signing.

2.Loan Guarantee

Description:

This service is to help legal entities engaged in business and various types of organizations who wish for BCEL to guarantee the full repayment of a debt along with the interest and expenses arising from such based on the loan contract with the receiver of the guarantee.

Benefits:

  • The party receiving the guarantee will be confident that you are able to repay the loan and interest as specified.
  • In the event that you are unable to perform your obligations as stated in the terms of the loan, the bank will do so on your behalf.
  • Requesting a guarantee is easy and the approval process fast.

3.Payment Guatantee

Description:

This service for legal entities engaged in business and various types of organizations aims to reduce the risks associated with paying for goods. It guarantees that the supplier will be paid for their goods or services. In the event that the buyer is unable to pay in full, the bank will take responsibility for the payment on their behalf.

Benefits:

  • Your suppliers will have confidence in your capacity to pay for the goods or services in full.
  •  If you are unable to fulfill your payment obligations, the bank will do so on your behalf.

4.Performance Guatantee

Description:

BCEL operates as a Guarantor to fully secure performance obligation(s) of the Applicant (Contractor/Supplier) to another contractual party (the Beneficiary). When the Applicant defaults in their contractual obligation BCEL irrevocably undertakes to pay the guarantee amount to the Beneficiary.

Benefits:

  • Underwrites the applicant’s obligations to complete the project successfully
  • Gives the beneficiary an indication of the applicant’s creditworthiness.
  • Provides the beneficiary with a remedy in the case of default by the applicant.
  • With performance guarantee in place, contractor does not need to deposit cash as collateral to project owner, allowing more financial liquidity to contractor.

Terms of Services:

  • Completed application form (BCEL form, with authorized signature and stamp)
  • Security 100% of the proposed guarantee amount (​cash deposits with BCEL, other securities for credit facilities)
  • A copy of Invitation for Bid (for Bid Security) ​/ signed contracts​ (for others)
  • Copies of business license and tax clearance certificate
  • ​Authorized Letter (if the security to be used is not legally binding to the applicant)
