2.Export Financing (Packing Credit)

Description: Packing credit is one of the policies to promote domestic production for export by providing short-term credit to provide cash flow to help you purchase raw materials and produce goods for export. Simply present documents relating your purchase agreement between yourself and the supplier, such as your L/C, purchase agreement, and quotation or purchase order, and you have the right to request packing credit so that you can export easily.

3.Export Bills Negotiation

Description: This is another service to help exporters operate more smoothly. You can receive the payment for your goods in advance from BCEL without having to wait for the buyer’s bank to invoice the buyer in accordance with the L/C. This is an option for those who wish to use this short-term credit from BCEL while the products are being transported to the supplier or while you are waiting for payment for the goods from the buyer’s bank after receiving the payment invoiced.

Benefits: You can receive payment to use as cash flow faster without having to wait for the deadline specified in the export bill in accordance with the L/C.

Terms of Service: Exporters must deliver the goods in accordance with the L/C, which specifies the deadlinefor paymentand export documents as specified in the L/C.

4.Outward Bills for Collection

Description: This service makes it easy for exporters or goods and services to receive payment for their exports in advance from the bank before knowing about the results of the invoicing from the buyer’s bank. The bank buys the export documents and credits your account before proceeding with the invoicing process using the export documents.

Benefits: Exporters receive cash flow for use in the short-term while waiting for the invoicing in accordance with the export bill from the overseas buyer. The exporter therefore receives the money faster.

Terms of Service: Exporters must present an export bill in accordance with the exported goods, a request to buy the export documents in accordance with the exported goods, and a notice of the price of the goods.

5.Export bills for collections

Description: This is a service which makes it easy to receive payment from overseas buyers for goods and services and ensures that you will be paid. The bank invoices the overseas buyer’s bank in accordance with the export documents and follows up on the payment.

Benefits:

  • The bankacts as a representative in invoicing for the exported goods.
  • This reduces the time you have to spend following up on payments.
  • You do not have to have credit from the bank.
  • You can receive payment for the exported goods fast.
  • The exporter can feel certain about the invoicing system in which the bank acts as a representative and the exporter can not receive the documents from the bank if they have not first paid the bank conducting the invoicing in full.

Terms of Service: Exporters must have a legally valid export license, put together the relevant documentation, and fill in an invoicing request form as specified by the bank.

6.Transfer Letter of credit

Description: This service makes it easy for you to transfer credit to make your business run more smoothly. You can transfer an L/C in the event that you are an intermediary exporter and wish to order goods from domestic and/or overseas suppliers or you are a producer but your production capacity is insufficient or too slow to meet demand. You have to transfer the goods to another affiliated producer to export in your place without having to conduct business to repay the debt.

  • Exporters can receive production support from other producers to guarantee your goods for export are sufficient.

Terms of Service: Exporters must present a legally valid export license. It must be a transferable L/C with the word ‘transferable’ written on it.

7.Inward Remittance

Description: Exporters and buyers who have had a sales-purchase relationship for a long time and trust each other can agree for payments to be made by bank transfer into the exporter’s account. When the bank receives the transfer, the exporter will be notified immediately.

Benefits: This saves time and money and is easy to do. For exporters such as this, it is a secure method of payment.

Terms of Service: You simply need to send a request or invoice to the buyer asking them to transfer the payment to your account, giving them your account number and the following SWIFT code: COEBLALA.

8.Assignment of Proceeds

Description: Our bank offers you this service to allow you to transfer the right to receive part of a payment specified in an L/C to any customer, who will become the beneficiary in your place. This service helps you to use L/Cs from buyers to make payments to suppliers or factories in the event that the L/C does not have the word ‘transferable’ written on it. When the bank invoices you in accordance with the L/C, it will transfer the amount into the account of the beneficiary as you specified, allowing you in the meantime to purchase raw materials or order the production of goods easily and you do not have to conduct business to pay for new capital.
